ALL THE WAY THROUGH EVENING
FEATURE DOCUMENTARY, 2012
Every year, exuberant “70-something” East Village concert pianist Mimi Stern-Wolfe performs a breathtaking concert of works by her friends, all composers, who were lost to the silent killer of New York City. The award-winning musical documentary ALL THE WAY THROUGH EVENING recalls the early years of HIV/AIDS as the pandemic swept through a downtown arts community and ravaged the world. This poignant documentary celebrates enduring friendships, and speaks to the transportive power of music.
